What does Overdrive Automations do?

Is Overdrive Automations the same company as Enter Overdrive?
No. Overdrive Automations is a Florida company operating as Overdrive Software LLC, founded by Grant Feltz. Enter Overdrive is a separate business in Vancouver, British Columbia, operating as Overdrive Consulting Inc. The two are unrelated, with no shared ownership, staff, or work. Both happen to use the word Overdrive.
Where is Overdrive Automations based?
Florida, in the United States. Work is delivered remotely for manufacturers across the country.
Pricing and terms
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because no two shops run the same. On the call we work out what the fix saves you each year: the software it replaces plus the hours it gives back. The fee is a fixed share of that number, agreed before we start and paid in milestones as each one is accepted. No hourly billing and no per-seat licensing.
Is the prototype really free?
Yes. After the 20-minute call we build a working prototype of the fix on your workflow and send it the next business day with a short walkthrough. If you do not go ahead, you owe nothing.
What is the guarantee?
Live in 28 days or the final milestone is free. The clock starts when the deposit clears and pauses only while we wait on your feedback, which we ask for within two business days.
How long does a build take?
The prototype lands the next business day after the call. The build goes live in 28 days from deposit. Agencies quote twelve weeks for the same work.
Who owns the software once it is built?
You do, entirely. Every line of code and every record of data. No per-seat licensing, no lock-in, no subscription to us.
What happens after handoff?
It is yours to run, and it keeps running without us. If you want coverage, there is an optional plan: if it breaks, we fix it inside one business day, for the life of the plan.
The work
What kinds of tools get built?
Custom CRMs and internal tools, quoting and order entry, integrations between the ERP and the systems around it, job-status boards and reporting, RFQ follow-up, and customer portals with the production sites behind them. Most shops need one of them first; the services page lists all six.
What does the prototype include?
One working screen that shows the fix on your workflow, with realistic sample data, at a private link that stays up for 30 days. It is built to answer one question: is this what you want in production? The full build, on your real data, comes after you sign.
How much of my time does this take?
The 20-minute call, a look at how the work gets done today, a prototype review with whoever approves, and a short check at each milestone. Under three hours for most builds.
What industries do you work with?
Manufacturers: job shops, contract manufacturers, OEMs, and the rep firms that sell for them. The common thread is a shop slowed down by a tool it rents or a process it runs by hand.
Do you replace our existing software?
Usually we replace the one tool you are renting that the floor never opens, and connect to everything else you already pay for, the ERP included. Nothing gets ripped out without a reason.
Do we need a technical person on our team?
No. Builds are handed over with training and documentation, and are designed to be run by the people who already do the work rather than by an engineer.

Do you work with clients outside Florida?
Yes. Overdrive Automations is based in Florida and works remotely with manufacturers throughout the United States.
