Six kinds of build for manufacturers. We prototype the one that hurts most first.
Overdrive Automations builds custom software for manufacturers with $10M or more in revenue who are done renting tools the shop floor never opens. Every build starts with a free 20-minute call, then a free working prototype the next business day, then a fixed fee tied to what the build saves each year. Live in 28 days or the final milestone is free. You own the code and the data when it ships.
Six things a shop still does by hand.
Most plants have all six. One of them is costing you the most right now. That is the one we prototype first, then we can build the rest.
Custom internal tools
Job tracking lives on one spreadsheet on one computer. That person takes a week off and the floor guesses.
That spreadsheet becomes software the whole shop logs into. It keeps working when people go on vacation.
Quoting and order entry
A quote takes three days because someone rebuilds the same spreadsheet, then types it into the ERP a second time.
A quoting tool that pulls your rates and materials, prices the job in minutes, and pushes the order straight through.
Systems that disagree
The ERP, the CRM, and the floor each have their own version of the order. By Friday somebody is working out which one is right.
We connect the software you already pay for so an order is entered once and every system agrees.
Job status and reporting
Nobody can say where a job stands without walking the floor. The owner asks on Monday and gets an answer Thursday.
A live job board. Every job, its stage, who has it, and what is late, on one screen, without anyone writing an update.
Lead and RFQ follow-up
An RFQ comes in Monday. Nobody answers it until Thursday, and the buyer already awarded it to the shop that quoted Tuesday.
Intake, routing, and a same-day acknowledgment so every RFQ gets a person on it the hour it arrives.
Customer portal and website
Half the phone calls are customers asking where their order is. Your office answers the phone instead of running the shop.
A portal where customers check status, drawings, and invoices themselves, plus the production site behind it.
How it is priced
No price list, because no two shops run the same. On the call we work out what the fix saves you each year: the software it replaces and the hours it gives back. The fee is a fixed share of that number, agreed before we start and paid in milestones as each one is accepted. No hourly billing, no per-seat licensing, no subscription to us. If the math does not clear, we tell you that on the call and you keep the prototype.
How fast
The prototype lands the next business day after the call. The build goes live in 28 days from deposit. Live in 28 days or the final milestone is free. The clock pauses only while we wait on your feedback, which we ask for within two business days.
Who it is for
Manufacturers with $10M or more in revenue, across the United States, working remotely. Job shops, contract manufacturers, OEMs, and the rep firms that sell for them. Recent builds include a manufacturer's rep firm site and a lighting manufacturer's product-finder site. See the portfolio for systems running right now.
